Fantastic location to take pictures, besides a good cafe for that drink after your walk The Fourteen Locks Canal Centre is situated off junction 27 of the M4 motorway, take the High Cross Road and after approximately half a mile turn right  in to Cefn  Walk (sign posted Fourteen Locks) go over the canal bridge the Centre and its car park are on your right.

By Bus:-No.1 from Newport bus station, get off at High Cross and follow the above directions.

due to its role for tourism and recreation. Additionally, the area is very important for nature-

it contains a site of special scientific interest and a local nature reserve.
